colour brightness improvement tips
im struggling to get a decent level of colour and brightness when the weather is a bit grey
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...sid/Image7.jpg i gave it a bit more saturation, sharpness and it then seems over exposed i can get it so it looks great in places but then in other places its very over exposed http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...sid/Image8.jpg any tips from the pro's on how i can improve things? is there a was i can bring the exposure down just on the sky's and water sprays? i tried using selective colour in the secondary colour corrector but i didnt seem to have any joy with that but maybe im doing it wrong

And have you tried using levels?
You may find the chart attached to my post (copied below) of 9 September helpful. Richard Colour Correction Summary -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just to round this off, I've adjusted the chart to reflect most of the suggestions and now attach this in case it is of interest.
