Best format - DVCPro to Vegas
I've got a company lined up to transfer from DVCPro tape to whatever file format I want. What would Vegas prefer? The company prefers not to transfer to MPEG due to it's long GOP, but suggested H.264. I'm just concerned about processor power while editing. Any suggestions?

have em' convert it to .mxf.
The worry over long GOP is ill-founded, and it's crazy they'd suggest h.264 over MPEG, h.264 *is* MPEG.
