AAV Colorlab crashes Vegas
I have tried installing AAV Colorlab a couple times. Afterwards, Vegas crashes on startup. If I uninstall Colorlab, Vegas is back to normal.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Intel Core 2 Duo, Windows XP, Vegas 8.0c (not sure what else you need to know). Thanks. Pete |

Make sure you're running the most current version. I believe there was an older version that caused problems.

I have been using it all day today on dozens of clips (10am to midnight) and not had any problems at all.

I tried downloading the latest (? - AAV Colorlab 1.0 rc1) version and reinstalled it. Installation seemed to go normally and Vegas started up like normal. Everything worked okay until I clicked on the Video FX tab. I could see AAV Colorlab at the top of the list, but I instantly got a "Sorry, Vegas must close" message.
After I uninstalled Colorlab, Vegas is back to working like normal. Hmmmm..... Pete |

When in doubt, read the instructions.
The manual suggested having the latest graphics drivers, so I updated mine. Seems to have solved the problem. Gotta love it when you have to get back to basics. Pete |
