Vegas 7 crashes when... at DVinfo.net

When I try to render to MOV and hit the options button for MOV setting....my Vegas application crashes. I'm guessing there is a version conflict somewhere for MOV files. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks.

That's all related to Quicktime. Make sure what version of Quicktime you have installed. Plus the "authoring components" must also be installed.

I've been using Vegas since v2 and the ONLY time I have ever had a problem with any version of Vegas has been when trying to do something with Quicktime. Apple just doesn't have any idea how to write Windows software and it seems like the newer versions have been getting worse. I had to go back to Quicktime v7.1 which is just stable enough to be usable.
