Which aspect ratio to render

I shot some video on my VX 2000 in wide format, I know it's letterboxed. When I import into Vegas which aspect ratio do I use, and also when I render my final, which aspect ratio?

If you used the VX2000's 16x9 mode, the footage should be "squeezed" 4:3 not 4:3 letterbox.

So you can set your project to NTSC DV Widescreen and it should look fine. Then render as DV, and make sure the box is checked that says "do not letterbox" though if your project is 16x9 it shoudn't be an issue.
