bad avi clip
Please forgive me if this has been covered. I did search but may have used the wrong words. After all, I'm beat...
I'm editing hdv, planning to upload short avi clips so my friend can put them in AE (Premiere) then send them back to me. When I render to avi, using default settings, and try to play it on my PC I get audio but no video. When my friend downloads the clip this is what he sees. What in the world am I doing wrong?

What codec are you picking? Worst case you might try uncompressed. Otherwise, you might look at the Cineform codecs - assuming your friend also has Cineform.

Hi Edward,
I was choosing the template HDV 1080-60i intermediate, which then gave the codec option Cineform HD V2.8. For what I am trying to accomplish, what would be the best way to share the files? Just to see what would happen I tried 3 seconds using uncompressed. The file was 576 MB. Rendering to wmv looks fine, by the way.
