Buzz during preview
Starting this morning, while editing, occasionally there will be a buzz that sounds like wireless mic interference that occurs during preview. When I replay the same spot the sound occured at sometimes it will happen a second time, sometimes it is gone and doesn't happen until the next random occurence further along the track.
Any thoughts? |

If your referring
to when you click on a file and preview it from explorer for example the audio gets a funny sound happening, my machine does the same, I'm using a Maudio card on Windows XP, and you get a cyclic audio almost glitch sound on preview, but when you put the clip on to the timeline the audio is fine.
Don't know if you have a variation of this? Maybe something like a PCI latency or something, don't know, I just grin and bare it knowing it'll be ok on the timeline. Regards Adam |

It was some unknown issue...I re-copied the files to the raid drive and all is well. Apparently when copying to Raid (scratch) drive something was amiss. All is well now.
