Vegas 6d capture will not see recorder
I'm running Vegas 6d on a PC and need to capture video from a Sony DSR-DR1000. The DR1000 is a digital recording unit that we use for replays and highlights. It is hooked up to the PC via firewire. Currently I can capture with PPro 1.5. I loaded Vegas on the PC because the specs say that it specifically talks to the recording unit. (Sometimes I get jumps in video when capturing with PPro), anyway Vegas does not see the recording unit at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times with no results. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance David |

For capturing purposes, you might take a look at Scenalyzer Live. It's a nice little program that does a great job at capturing.

I can capture with PPro. I'm just wondering why Vegas won't talk to the recorder when it says that it is supported. I may give Scenalyzer a try.
