Vegas/Vaio Laptop Bundle Question at DVinfo.net

Looking around the Sonystyle site, I saw the FW series Vaio laptops can be ordered with Vegas Pro included for a little over $200. That's a pretty good savings over the list price.

My two questions are:

1) Is this the full version including DVD Architect? The site is very vague on what's actually in the package.

2) Would it be possible to install on a desktop as well? I know a lot of software lets you use it on a desktop and portable device if you're not using both at the same time.

I know I could contact Sony, but I figured this would be quicker, and I'll get straight answers and hopefully some real world experiences as opposed to call center folks misreading a manual.

Hard to answer #1 without seeing the page or knowing anything about this product. As for #2, the EULA allows installing on both a desktop and laptop as long as both are not used at the same time.

Obviously asking Sony is the best choice but I don't believe that you can get Vegas Pro without DVD Architect anymore. It's not like the old days with Vegas and Vegas+DVD, Vegas Pro 8 always has DVD Architect bundled so chances are that this is the full version with DVD Architect.

Edit: I just saw that B&H is selling Vegas Pro 8 without DVD Architect so I guess you should assume nothing and call Sony to find out exactly what they are including with the laptop (sorry)

The only reason I'm unsure is the weird Vegas Pro 8 upgrade being sold by B&H which does NOT include DVD Architect. Definitely best to ask Sony.
