cant export to aaf?
Im probably retarded, but: i cant find the aaf export?
is it a plugin i need? |

Save As... Then select one of the aaf options

Hi,
are you using 8.1? I noticed that too! AAF export just isn't there! 8c still has the option - and I guess you could edit in 8.1 then open the file in 8c and then export - but really, wtf? It's like 8c and 8.1 were written or developed by two different teams - that didn't talk to each other very much. (Of course this is all assuming that they haven't hidden it deep in the bowels of 8.1 and I just haven't found it yet...) I've gone back to 8b because 8c keeps 'fast playing' my clips on the timeline - (don't know why - only a restart resets it). And 8.1 is missing things like AAF export. I'm sure this will all be fixed at some time - but jeez, two almost unusable (at least for me) releases... I mean, why bother? David. |
