Mask from event pan/crop is stretched when rendering
I have a problem with my mask in the event pan/crop window, when i render the video it gets stretched and displaced (as you can see in the picture) in the video the girl's image is reflected in the mirror and i filmed two different versions but put one in a mask directly in the mirror, when i watch the preview in vegas everything is perfect. I guess it's just an option i have to turn on or off somewhere?
thanks! |

view it as stretched to match output in the Preview options (Right click the Preview window, and select there).
Viewing as stretched pixels is likely what you want to do, assuming you're outputting to nonsquare?

Douglas, i'm a beginer at this i'm not to sure what you really meant, i didn't find the "match output" option in the preview window that you mentionned, i have Vegas 7 i don't know if that changes anything?
but i did do this test (maybe this is what you meant?), i clicked the "stretch video to fill output frame size (do not letterbox)" when i rendered the file and it came out ok in a way (the mirror mask fitted perfectly with the main video) but the whole thing was stretched out way too much. At least i understand a bit more now, one of the two video tracks (in my case it's the video with the mask) is being stretched to fill the output frame size and i have to find out why and how to change it back like the other video track. God this can be complicated when you're a beginer and you never experienced these things but i guess it's all in the learning process... |
