Problem with text when converting to MainConcept AVC/AAC, mp4 for ipod/iphone
I’m having some difficulty converting/rendering to MainConcept AVC/AAC (mp4) for ipod/iphone. My choices under this media type are -- 320x240 or 640x480 or custom.
When going from my project settings (below) to the 640x480 (mp4) template, the video is naturally put into a letterbox format (within a 640x480 frame) - which is fine. The trouble is however, than I have white text over a black solid color background on the beginning of the video that is not maintaining its aspect ratio (after conversion) for some reason. After conversion to the 640x480 template, the text is larger, extending to the sides of the frame, when in the original, it sits comfortably in the frame with room on either side. Here are my Project Properties: HD 1080-24p (1920x1080, 23.976) all material was shot full wide screen, full raster HD. **Is there a custom setting that I can use that would keep the text portion of my video looking the same as in the timeline original? Or a custom setting that will not 'lettrbox' the video, but still conform to ipod/iphone standards? Thanks |
