Sony Creative Software - Vegas Pro 8 - Vegas Family Comparison

Most of the essential info about all versions are at the above Sony page.

Wouldn't you agree that it is usually easier to seek out answers directly from the source than to go through third partys, as you have done here? For example, when seeking the size of your lens on the A1 as you did a while back, there are probably a hundred sites that have that information listed. So rather than posting a question, waiting for a response, you could go directly to Canon's website, or CNEt, etc, and get the answer instantly.

Just a suggestion!

Sony Vegas Pro 8 is the current "full" version.

There are Sony Vegas Movie Studio versions. These are the "lite" versions.

I understand what you mean but for the life of me, I find that there is so much info on this type of thing that getting a straightforward answer froma website can be daunting, im a total newbie and so have no skills in this line of product/s and as many people here are highly skilled I was of the thinking that I would get better advice from users.

If you're a newbie then go for the Movie Studio Platinum.

Out of interest what camera are you using ?
