HD file
so if I shoot something in HD, edit it in HD, and want to view it in HD, is the only way to do that to dub it to an HD tape, or blue ray? is there a way to render it as a file and put it on a DR HD100 (which plays HD)?

I don't know what a DR HD100 is, but I output my HD videos to HD and then stream them to my HDTV using Vista Media Center and a wireless extender hooked up via HDMI. Now, if I needed to distribute my videos I would have to invest in Blu-Ray burning/playback equipment or downsample to SD to put it on a DVD.
