Anyone using Sorenson Squeeze
Anyone using Sorenson Squeeze,
Is it worth rendering the timeline to AVI and then import into Sorenson Squeeze and then compress to mpeg-2 for DVD files? Is there any benefit in doing this? I have noticed that SS uses Main Concept, Vegas uses the same compression. I don’t have Sorenson Squeeze but wondering if this is worth the cost to get better looking compression. Nick |

So while the basic answer to your question is "no, no better results from squeeze than out of Vegas," there may be other reasons to use a dedicated compression tool, such as batch processing scripts, watched folders, auto-ftp, a quick set of good filters for B&C, CC, Normalization, Sharpen, Soften, logging, and etc. |
