Purchase DVD architect?
So, if I purchase this version of Sony Vegas 8,
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...o_8_Video.html where can I buy DVD architect? This BH exclusive copy of Vegas is just the NLE without DVD authoring. |

You would have to "upgrade" the Vegas + DVD which would also give you another copy of Vegas. DVD Architect is not sold separately.

Hmm.

If not, it still comes with DVDA and the total is cheaper than buying full Vegas 8 + DVD. Creative consumerism. |

I would think you should be able to do so. You'll have to call customer service and ask.

It will work, according to Sony CS.

My Vegas Movie Studio 6 functions the same way, so I could always author with the studio version of DVDA, but I'm sure there are some other features in the "pro" version. Sounds like a winner. |

A big advantage of the "pro" version is that you could also author bluray discs as well.
