Trouble In Vegas
Has anyone ever had this message pop up while trying to transfer footage using Vegas Pro 8?-"Hauppauge WinTv PVR PCI II Capture not working". There might even be a warning message with that. It started coming up the last few times I have transfered footage and I am not sure what it means and how to make it go away. Please help.

Do you have nero installed? If so first try disabling all startup items and see if that helps...it's a long shot. this is assuming you have no Hauppauge card installed.
You could also use regedit and search for the Hauppauge entries, of which there are two in the Nero register, and delete them, again, long shot. I'm sure there is a setting in Vegas you could use. Try disabling the device connection error setting if you are desperate. Open up capture in Vegas, If you can proceed from there go to Options then uncheck "Warn when device communication error occurs". I don't know if this will cause you other issues, but maybe it would work as a temporary fix. |
