I keep getting this error message
Each time I start Vegas 7e I keep getting this error message: " The MSSLQL$SONY_MEDIAMGR service does not exist or the current account does not have enough privilege to manage it"
THere is the option to click OK, and when I do that the message disappears and Vegas starts normally, but it's still a pain, particularly when I have to start several instance of Vegas at a time. Any idea how to remove that? I have full privilege on my computer and I'm running a fully registered version of VEGAS. I bought Version 7c, I had that problem. When I upgraded to 7 E nothing changed. Other than that, no problem with Vegas and all media are accessible normally through the media manager window, so I don't understand what this error is for. |

You can get rid of the error message by going into Options - Preferences in Vegas and turning off the Media Manager option. However, that won't fix the problem - just eliminate the error message. If you're not using the Media Manager, that won't be an issue.
