Backround image in DVDA 5.0
I normally use DVDLab Pro for authoring but am trying DVD Architect 5.0 to see if I can make a Bluray disc with my new LG burner. In DVDLab it is easy to use a frame from the video as a backround image on a menu, just find the frame one wants on the timeline, hold shift and drag to the menu. Image is now the menu backround. How can I do this in DVD Architect?

I do this with frames in Vegas. Set preview on best-full and click the disk icon.
As far as i know it isn't possible in DVD-Architect. |

Typically, I would save the frame as an image in Vegas as Hubert suggested. However, this worked for me:
1. Right-click the menu 2. Choose "Insert Graphic" 3. In the "Graphic Properties" on the right-hand side, go to the "Media" tab 4. Change the START TIME to be the frame that you want 5. Resize the image so that it's full screen

I just exported a frame from Edius. It is not as convenient as DVDLab it seems to only use one processor for encode too. Sony maintains its reputation of being slow!!!!
