Vegas 8 Chapter pts. in Timeline ?
Is there a way of putting DVD Chapter mark points on the timeline for making it quicker when exporting into DVDA ?

Put standard markers on the timeline. These will be used as chapter points on the DVD. When you choose to render, make sure the option to "Include Markers" is checked in the "Render as" dialog. After rendering, DO NOT move the files.

Markers (shortcut is M) on a Vegas timeline become chapter points in DVDA as long as you remember to select the "Save project markers in media file" in the render dialog box.

Thanks Edward & Mike - most helpful.
I have a tutorial & manual on V7 which makes no mention of this. Maybe it's in the supplied manual and stupidly I forgot to check there. Thanks again. Ron Cooper. |
