VMware fusion software, Mac laptop and Vegas 8
Anyone running this Virtual software system? The concern is having enough system resources to edit DV and HDV on Vegas 8 if the Mac OS is running. I'm considering a larger hard drive for my MacBook Pro. Currently have 2 gigs of RAM. Will run window XP instead of Vista.
If the Mac OS is running, how much resource is available to run Windows XP and Vegas? Will the machine run slow or?? especially in the event of editing HDV. Are the firewire ports and other peripherals active for windows? thx btw, I'm running Mac OS 10.4.11 Tiger. No plans to upgrade to Leopard |

It won't work. Fusion and Parallels don't work for video Xfer.
Plan on BootCamp and external drive for best results
