Audio Fade Question
I'm trying to split Music Audio - reduce the gain in one part - split it again and increase the audio again.
I've managed that (it's so I can add a voice track but still have the music playing in the background but not loud. When I try to fade the louder tracks in and out they fade to and from nothing - is there a way to fade them to the same level as the middle (quiter) track so there is no noticable jump? Rich |

highlight the track header and press V-that'll install a volume envelope double click on the envelope where you want to insert points and adjust away. You can also rightclick on a point and set a specific level from +12 to inf (muted).
Don't forget to raise or lower over a VO track you need 4 points Don |

Can't you add a new audio track and have your voice on that track, and just lower the volume on the original track (the one that you want to split in your description)?

Cheers Don - just tried this and it works a treat for what I'm doing.
Thanks again. Rich |
