vegas errors...
Hi,
I'm going crazy with vegas these days but i don't know how to solve a problem: My computer works very well with all types of applications except the video's ones. Vegas (also architect and tmpgenc) report an error with the MSVCR80.dll during renderings... I can say that are months that i'm fighting with this problem that becomed more frequent nowdays. I tought it was ram but i changed and tested... Do you think it can be the nforce chipset mounted on the motherboard or the videocard (nvidia 8800 gts)? Yesterday i tried to install movie looks but an error about opengl apperead... Argh! |

This might be a Operating System error. This error is for the Visual C++ library. If you have trouble with problems with programs written in C++ on your machine, try a re-install of the OS.

You may want to try installing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86):
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en It may correct any corrupt/incorrect files on your system. |

Thank you, I appreciate the help but it doesn't work...
I re-installed xp and also the visual c++ but nothing changed. Before I'll waste my money do you think it can be a problem releated to motherboard or cpu? I'm thinking to buy an intel. |

Marco, what is the exact wording of the error? Does it happen every time or randomly?

it happens every time, it seems the only way i can render is making a pre-render of little pieces of timeline. but i think it's not only a vegas problem because also tmpgenc give me errors

Marco, my guess is the OS has a problem. Something has changed that one file (or multiple files???) - either it's become corrupt or some program installation has installed an incorrect version. Can you do a system restore back to when it worked?
