HDV => wmv = 100% failure with Vegas 7e
I've discovered some weird default application data folder that's preventing me from making wmv's.
Where's the best place to put both properties and project TEMP folders on the drive...or does it matter? Thx

Art, this doesn't sound right.
Could you go into a little bit more detail as to how a default application data folder is "preventing" you from making wmv? As to Temp folders, they can be anywhere. In an ideal setup your temp folders would be on a drive other than system or source video, but in practice you can put it anywhere with negligible impact on rendering on current PC. |

I can't explain it myself but all I know is that rendering failed 100% of the time using the default TEMP folder settings. Only when I made other TEMP folders away from any application data folder was I able to render wmv.
Thx PS - Wanted to add that the place where you name, date, & copywrite the video needs to be changed per video clip.
