sony ex cam footage in vegas?

Anyone work on it? is it hard to deal with? does it go as slow as avchd? does cineform work with it, and if so is it needed? Does geardshift work with it?

Any experience before I consider the switch over would be helpful.

Hello Stephen,

yesterday I imported some EX1 Clips (Full HD/30p) into Vegas 8a. I had to convert them with the XDCam Browser (Ver.1.01) into .mxf first.
The files could then be openened without problem. Playback in Prewiew was similar to HDV, maybe a little better (due to progressive? I do not know).

Greetings Richard
