Keep in mind that this is Vegas ONLY.
DVD Architect isn't included (which means no AC-3 or MPEG-2 render options) and, since Sony no longer offers it as a separate purchase, you have to either buy DVD Architect Studio ($50 from B&H) or use another authoring app. |

It looks like the version without DVDA is a standalone version (not an upgrade), and the version with DVDA is an upgrade from ANY previous pro version. The prior upgrade required V6 or V7 pro.
Not bad. I have V8 at work, but V5 at home...
