Pan/crop and audio

I'm panning/cropping an image and changing its focus at particular points to correspond to the audio track.

Can the audio be played while in the pan/crop window so precise placement of track motion can be made, without having to go out of the p/c window and back to the main view to find the degree of correspondance between track motion and audio?

Thanks Don.

That gets the cursor moving down the timeline and playing audio, but it does not get the cursor in the pan/crop window moving so you can see where you are re track motion. How does one get the P/C cursor going with audio?

Bottom left corner of Pan/Crop window under timeline scrubber, press the Sync Cursor button (has a little padlock on the button).

Thanks Darrin.

I see now how it works. The P/C window cursor soes not move in time with the timeline cursor but can be sync'd to where the timeline cursor is. That helps.

No, it is not dynamic in the way you/I want.

Here's what I do.

1] Apply Markers on the Main Timeline. These Markers are at the positions OF the audio changes - beats, keychanges, silence . .whatever . .

2] Get back to Pan/Crop, using the Synced Cursor and MOVE the P/C cusor to Marker 1 - seen on the Timeline. Change the P/C. Move to Marker 2 - make the P/C change . .and so on and so on . .

Personally I'd like to have a dynamic option too, PLUS a movement Envelope that would HOLD my tracking as I swung stuff about. We have "Latch" for audio - how about the same for Movement?
