changing frames per sec in project

I've asked this somewhere before but can't remember where, and don't remember the answer. :-(

I do projects on PAL which runs 25 frames per second, rather than the 29 in NTSC. However in the project I am doing at the moment, if I do a fade on an event, the frame numbers run up to 29 before going to a second, rather than running up to 25 before switching to a second.

How do I change the frame numbering so that it goes to 25 rather than 29?

I've done it before but have forgotten how...

Also...if you have a lot of fades to do and you want every one to be 1 sec long, how do you set the fade length so it will snap to one sec?

Right-click on the timecodes just above the timeline and pick the proper format.

Also go to File - Properties and make sure the correct settings are chosen there.
