"Camcorder Overlay"

Hi,

Tried searching but without success ... in Movie Studio, I want to overlay "Camcorder Info" on a shot, e.g. "Record", Battery Level icon, time, etc. Is there a template for this already out there somewhere? One that would actually show the clock changing / battery running out would be very cool as well!

Thanks in advance,

Paul.

You would need to create whatever you wanted the overlay to look like. Alternately, record the analog output of the camera with the display info turned ON.

Shoot a plain background (black, white, blue, green) and you could key it out afterwards.
IMO, it's best to do this outdoors so that it's evenly lit. After all, the sun is a great light source :-)

Another option that I used is to copy the symbols from the user manual. Ideally, this should be in electronic (pdf) format.
