"Camcorder Overlay"
Hi,
Tried searching but without success ... in Movie Studio, I want to overlay "Camcorder Info" on a shot, e.g. "Record", Battery Level icon, time, etc. Is there a template for this already out there somewhere? One that would actually show the clock changing / battery running out would be very cool as well! Thanks in advance, Paul. |

You would need to create whatever you wanted the overlay to look like. Alternately, record the analog output of the camera with the display info turned ON.

Shoot a plain background (black, white, blue, green) and you could key it out afterwards.
IMO, it's best to do this outdoors so that it's evenly lit. After all, the sun is a great light source :-) |

Another option that I used is to copy the symbols from the user manual. Ideally, this should be in electronic (pdf) format.
