XDcam and Proxy Editing
Quick question for you all,
I would like to edit the proxy files form an F350 and conform later. When I import using the explorer, I import both full res and proxy because I have the HDD space and don't want to go back and do it a second time. When I get the clips in the explorer however, I cannot seem to just edit off the proxy files. I made no edit lists in camera or anything like that so there is no list I can right click and "only edit off proxies" in the explorer. Is there any way to import everything at one, but still tell Vegas to just edit the proxy files? Thanks. |

Copy an image of the XDCAM disc to an HDD, complete with disc name.
Import disc from image, not from XDCAM disc. Edit proxies, conform when desired.
