Preview via Windows Secondary Display

Preview via Windows Secondary Display.
Is there any trick to doing this or is it what i'm doing.

Set up, extend windows onto second display, then grab the preview window and drag to second display, resize to what size i want?
Is this it?
I thought that the Video preview window would resize to the second display ?a bit like firewire out to camera to TV,LCD screen?

Any thoughts on this.

Cheers
Simon

Nope that's not it. You're just spreading Vegas across two monitors.

Look for an icon on the Video Preview window that looks like a small monitor, that's the toggle for Preview on External Monitor (Alt+Shift+4). You can make sure you've setup your Secondary monitor settings correctly in: Options - Preferences - Preview Device.

Ok i have found the problem.
I thought i would check an update with new drivers as my video card is an old Radeon 9600 series. Downloaded new drivers and now it's working.
Thanks to all that have helped me.
Cheers

Just for the record, I had to do the same with my NVIDIA drivers. Used to be a bit of a hassle because I would changed my secondary display monitor a lot (firewire then vga monitor and back again). After the latest NVIDIA update the system is rock solid even switching mid-stream.
