Another Noob Question: Change Out Point

Hi Guys,

I hope I'm not burdening this forum but can't seem to find the answer hands-on, in the manual or online. I have 2 clips. There is a transition between the two. How can I change the out point of clip 1 while maintaining the transition? I can slip it with the ctrl-drag but the in-point is affected. I can remove the transition by moving clip 2 to the right, adjust the out-point, and reapply the transition, but can I just adjust the out point of clip 1? Thanks.

Kevin

More than one solution - I would use post edit ripple:

1. Drag the right edge of clip 1 to the required new out point
2. Ctrl/Shift F to ripple everything to its former relative position
