HDV-capture format in Vegas Pro 8

I'm using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum and the max HDV capture in his program is 1440 x 1080 pix. My camcorder is set to 1920 x 1080i(50), and I'm recording in this format. Does Vegas Pro 8 capture with higher resolution(1920 x 1080) than the home solution software, Movie Studio, or is the standard HDV capture format 1440 x 1080?

Thanks

This is perfectly normal.
The aspect ratio for HDV is 1.333 which, when multiplied by 1440, comes out to 1920.
