Titles
What's the technique for making text/titles transparent? I discovered the text masking tool in Ultimate S and the text is transparent when that is used, but I couldn't figure out how it got that way!

Take a look at vol 2 #5 of my newsletters and see if the titling article there covers what you're trying to do.

Ok, thanks Edward, I'll take a look. To sum it up I want the ability to have titles take on the characteristics of something "behind them", to allow a video or other image to show through.

That article will show you how to use the text as a mask allowing one video to show through the transparent area and another video show through for the text. This would be similar to the intro for Spin City (if you ever watched that).
