Long clip ended up with22 clips
I shot an hr long talking head on DVcam and was using a Panny DVCpro deck in DVcam mode for downloading. It ended up being 22 clips once done. Can anyone make any suggestions on what I might have overlooked in capture settings or is the borrowed HD that I was using formated wrong?

is the drive format fat32 or ntfs? fat32 limits the file sizes to 2 gig i believe. or is it possible you had scene detection enabled in the capture preferences?

Fat32 limits the filesize to FOUR (4) Gig - not 2. If it was a FAT32 limit, a 1 hour program would be cut into 3 4-gig slices and 1 smaller slice using standard DV rates.
There has to be something else going on to get 22 slices in 1 hour.
