Slideshow Pan and Zoom feature
Hello all I'm new to vegas so starting to learn vegas 8 Pro and I'm doing a project for my family for xmas and I love the feature Pan and zoom in Encore but I want to add Video in with the slideshow so not able to use Encore so I figured everything out in vegas but the only thing I can't seem to work out is the Pan and zoom function. Is there a automated way doing this to a bunch of Photo's? Thank's for any advice you all can give.
Thank's Chet |

There's no automated way to this in Vegas - but that's why there's plug-ins like Excalibur and Ultimate S to help you do it quicker.

Mike's right, I use Ultimate S and find the montage feature, it can almost completey do it for you except the customizing. I really like the way it fits the images to the length of the audio clip. From there you just customize. If you want it will automate the panning and scanning, but it is random, and you will have to change the pan and scan settings on many of the images, but theoretically, Ultimate S COULD completely automatically make your slideshow, in a manner of speaking.
