anyone using vegas shootig with a AJ-HDX900

Hi there.
I am thinking about upgading to a Panasonic AJ-HDX900 from a SOny PDW F350, for a few reasons mainly due to the poor low light handling of the Sony.
Anyway, is anyone here shooting with a HDX900 and using DV Rack to import the footage into your PC's via the firewire out and then into Vegas for edit?
Just want to confirm that this 'route' to get the fotage into Vegas works. If so, what type of files does the DV Rack produce from the HDX900, high resolution AVI?
Many thanks
Sparky

Just wondering if you bought the camera. I'm looking for a profesisonal camera and am considering it also. Of course, there is the lens to buy also...

Hi Larry

I stuck with my F350 in the end. There is a new low light update coming out now as well which addresses my main concern.
The F350 is a great camera and I am going to stick with it for a couple of years.

Good luck. Sparky
