Best way to get HD live screen capture?
Curious for a DVD tutorial whats the best way to get a live video of the computer screen ? I would want it HD/HDV
Shoud I mirror a dual monitor setup and work on one and shoot another with an HD camera focused and zooned in on the screen? Or is there a way to grab from say an DVI out feeding 1920x1080? Its not super color or res critical just needs to cut into other footage so it needs to be HDV |

I've used camtasia from techsmith.com, a really nice screen capture utility that has internal editing, vo, highlighting and render capabilities.
I've heard good things about camstudio, open source from sourceforge.net, but haven't had a chance to use it myself as of yet. |
