audio effects to single events
Hi, is there any way to apply an audio effect plug in (such as Graphic EQ or reverb) to an individual audio clip on the timeline? Only seem to be able to apply an effect to the entire track. I've been sticking the event I want to alter on it's own track so far, and sometimes I end up with TOOOO many tracks!

Hi Stuart!!
If you right click on an event you can select "Apply Non Real Time Event FX". It's a little more clunky than Track level FX, which you can hear as you fiddle with settings - here you have to render first, then it appears as a Take (Toggle "T" to go from original to FX take). Sometimes it's a good idea to start with the event on its own track and listen while you tweak the settings at Track level, then once you've decided, save those settings as a preset and apply them to the event which can then go back to its original track (Numerical Keys 8 & 2 to move an event vertically up/down) |
