Colour Correcting multicam tracks...
I have a 3 camera shoot to edit - V8.
I need to colour correct the video to get them all to match. Before making the multicam track, I played around with the CC and got it pretty good and took down all the numbers. I then made the multicam track - which (as I guess you know) wipes out all previous fx. I then went to 'Project Media' and selected the file I wanted to CC, and selected 'Media Fx'. I selected CC and then plugged in all the recorded numbers - and did this for each file. However in the mulitcam window, the CC does not seem to show up. Can I view all the CC in place in the Multicam window? Have I done it right? |

Further...the CC seems to have been applied, at least it is there when the Multicam is disenabled. So that is good.
...however, when mulitcam is enabled, fades don't show when playing down the timeline. Am I missing something? |

As I stated in your other post MULTICAM is for CUTTING, do that FIRST then do your Color and FX. Doing Color and FX BEFORE you cut is, in the opinon of most professional editors, a complete waste of time. Cut, Color, FX on the Master track. Vegas will allow saving of Presets for your CC and with the split screen feature you can pick the base clip to color grade to and then go to the MEDIA pool to drop in the color correction and FX presets you used. This will save time energy and sanity.
