small but pesky bug?
I think I have come upon one. At one point I opened a new project, did nothing with it, and closed Vegas. Upon reopening Vegas shows the same new, never used project.
I find the one I intend to work on under file, open, go to preferences and confirm that I have have Automatically open last project on startup checked, but for the life of me I can't make this work anymore. It seems that I am stuck with having to put up with opening first a fresh project before I can open a WIP one. Is anyone familiar with this? Any remedies?

I always turn off the automatically open last project because it's annoying for it to assume what *I* want loaded. Instead, I'd rather pick the file to open.
However, it should auto open whatever file is the top one in the File menu.

I found what was causing it; I had two Vegas projects opened at the same time without noticing this. I still don't understand what that had to do with it but the pest went away.
I like to have Vegas open to my last project until I'm done with it. When I'm working on another one, that one is then the project that will always open automatically.
