dr hd100
anyone using the JVC Hd100 in combination with the DR HD100, and editing in vegas 7 or 8? I am having a timecode issue (there is none), want to see if its the same for anyone else. Focus says its because the hard drive isnt tested on vegas yet. but on their website it says it is. so now I am coming to anyone here. the settings are DV, AVI 2.

thanks for the response, but M2T is for HDV. I am shooting in DV mode (I shoot news, they arent interested in HD) but I suspect even in HD mode you arent getting timecode. my video files import just fine, video and audio, but I dont get timecode with the file. lets say I shoot 2 clips, the first one TC starts at 0:00:00, and ends on 0:01:00 the next clip starts on 0:01:00 and ends at 0:02:00. if you import just the SECOND clip, time code doesnt start at 0:02:00, it starts back at all zeros.
this obviously is a problem, but I want to make sure others are having the same issue. |
