Recommend a cheap tape deck

I had been using my canon optura 60 to capture video but looking for a cheap player to capture SD and HDV. I shoot using JVC Hd100ua camera.
Any suggestions?

Unfortunately there's no such thing as a cheap player, especially when it comes to HDV playback.
And since you're using a JVC camcorder, you want to make sure the deck can play back that camcorder's footage.
The only deck JVC has is the BR-HD50U (recorder/player) and it lists for a mere $3500 :-(
If all you want is SD playback, pick up a cheap camcorder and use if for playback to your edit suite.
