upgrading to 8
hi everyone
I just started using vegas 7. got the program free with my hdr-z1. i swiched from apple to pc, was using fcp. finding the crossover very annoying. Just little things, but vegas seems to be a great program> Anyway! i didnt get DVD Architect Pro 4.5, or Dolby® Digital AC-3 and dont think i can buy them seperate. So thinking of upgrading. i was wondering would i need neo-hdv if im getting vegas 8. Im reading that its the best way of capturing even though i captured in vegas 7 and it seemed fine?? also does neo-hdv have better compression codac?? any help would be great thanks |

You don't *need* Neo, you might find it a useful tool, however.
The video stream is already compressed at the camera. Neo doesn't make it look any better, but does provide for better compositing or multiple renders.
