OT - VASST Video for the Web DVD
I just got my copy of Video for the Web from VASST and man, it's really packed with great info. I've been posting video on my web site for years and within the first few minutes of the DVD, I learned about 10 things that I could do to improve quality. This DVD covers an amazing amount of topics (soup to nuts as Spot says) including video content, recommendations for backgrounds, chromakey, audio, editing, graphics, photos, resizing, which render formats work best, bit rate settings, to name just a few. Every technique shown has examples and comparisons so you can see the differences for yourself. It even shows two videos using two different recommended formats running side-by-side directly from Youtube to demonstrate that there really isn't much difference. There is a summary at the end of every chapter and at the end of the DVD so you can create checklists. I'm going to have to watch this several times to get all of information and keep it handy for reference when shooting and setting up video for the web. This one's a keeper. Thanks VASST!
