HuffYUV not available in Vegas

Hi All,
I'm still on Vegas 4.0e...works fine except: I downloaded (and thought I installed) the HuffYUV codec as an alternative to avi uncompressed.
Problem: It doesn't show up under "render as" options.
I also manually copied the .dll to the Common Files folder in Sonic Foundry...no joy.
I see the .dll in the Windows System 32 folder (I"m running W2k pro), but it's not available under the "render as" drop down menu in Vegas.
Any suggestions or help is appreciated.
Thanks
Ken

Ken,
The alternative codecs are buried somewhat. From Render As, set Save As Type to Video for Windows (.AVI), then select Default Template (Uncompressed) for the template. Click on Custom for the Default Template and select the Video tab. On the Video tab, Video Format, click the dropdown on "uncompressed," which should be the default format showing. You should see HUFFYUV, as well as other codec choices in the dropdown list.

Guy, amazing! Thank you too -- I have NewTek's SpeedHQ codec and could never figure out how to locate it. Can't wait to try it out on DVDA now....

Thanks Guy! I'd never have found that...it would be great if there was a preferences level menu that showed all the codecs available to Vegas.
