m2t files - are they native to Vegas?
I was trying to open up a m2t file in AE, but it failed - what are people doing about capturing in HDV in Vegas and transporting to other programs?

I rename M2t to mpeg in one such case.

I guess I don't want to have to re-render the file as an AVI and lose quality.
