Gearshift 1.7 released, now with AVCHD support!

Gearshift 1.7 is now up on the VASST site. The big new feature is that now the AVCHD MTS clip format is recognized as an HD format.

This is really important because although Vegas 7e now works with AVCHD video, the more complex compression will slow even the most powerful computer down to a crawl. I get about 4 frames per second with the native mts clips. Gearshift 1.7 makes editing AVCHD video quite easy, even on an underpowered PC. Way to go VASST! :-)
