Export Edit Details table
I have a project that contains nearly 400 short (mostly less than 10 seconds) clips that each need to be approved or rejected by the client before I can start assembling the piece (some clips contain sensitive content that the client might not want to be included and for obvious reasons they want to make that decision themselves).
I had hope to be able to export the Edit Details table to, for example, a spreadsheet, in order to make the job a little easier but I can't find any way to do that. Am I looking for something that you can't do? Failing this, how would others go about the task of getting a client to select or reject clips? All help appreciated. Cheers, Ian . . . Click the box in the upper left hand corner to select all of the table. Press CTRL-C to copy the info. Open Excel and press CTRL-V to paste the information.

Fab - but very frustrating to discover the solution!
I spent a few minutes right clicking and selecting copy but it wouldn't allow me to do that for more than one cell or row of data! I therefore assumed that one was not *able* to select it and didn't bother trying ctrl-c/v. Seems like a Vegas oversight. Thanks for helping out again Edward. |
