Codecs and Studio/Computer RGB conversion

Ok, I'm working far too late trying to understand something I've probably never got right. Can someone confirm these flows for colour conversions for me please?

1) Source = HDV or DV -> Mpeg 2 (DVD Architect widescreen setting) = No change (studio RGB -> Studio RGB)

2) Source HDV or DV -> or Windows Media Player V9 = Studio RGB -> Computer RGB

3) Source HDV -> or Windows Media Player V9 (Advanced Profile) = Studio RGB -> Computer RGB

Am I right?

Thanks for any help,

Rob,

That should be right.

This assumes that you are encoding out of Vegas, and NOT Windows Media Encoder. In WME, a different codec may be used (e.g. the microsoft DV codec, which operates with 0-255 levels).
